The IPA asked HeadChannel to create this application, so that their members could suggest questions that they would like more information about. These questions are incorporated into regular surveys, which are then published online. Questions can take many different forms – from simple text answers to complex matrices of numerical answers, check boxes or radio buttons. Having created a library of questions, they can then be added to surveys to build a potentially infinite variety of questionnaires.
Member agencies are invited to take part in the surveys. Automated reminders are sent by the system at predefined times and, once sufficient numbers of members have completed a survey, the data is analysed and made available as reports. These are all generated automatically and published online. The system integrates with the IPA's existing database of users, so that only those members with sufficient privileges can gain access.
