Page load times have never been more important

Everyone knows how annoying it can be having to deal with websites that take forever to load. As per some recent researches, almost 75% of the Internet users do not return to sites that take longer than four seconds to load. Google recently announced that they consider website speed when determining search engine rankings.
Slow page load times, then as well as now, are the number one reason people will click away from a website. Usually they never return, either.
